MediaToolNest respects the rights of creators and copyright owners. This policy explains your responsibilities when using our tools and how to report a concern.

Only process files you have the right to use

Our tools are designed for files you own or are allowed to use, for example:

videos and audio you recorded or created yourself;
files you have received permission to edit or convert;
content that is licensed for modification (for example, under certain Creative Commons licenses);
content in the public domain.

By using MediaToolNest, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions for every file you process. Copyright rules, including exceptions for personal use, differ significantly from one country to another. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.

What MediaToolNest does not do

We do not host or distribute your files. Our tools process files entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to us, stored by us or made accessible to anyone through our Website.
We do not download content from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or other platforms. Our tools only work with files you provide yourself.
We do not circumvent copy protection. Our tools are not designed to process files protected by digital rights management (DRM), and you must not attempt to use them for that purpose.

Reporting a copyright concern

Because we never receive, store or publish the files processed with our tools, most copyright concerns will relate to content on the Website itself, such as text, images or examples in our guides.

If you believe content on mediatoolnest.com infringes your copyright, please send a notice to copyright@mediatoolnest.com including:

your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
the exact URL of the page on mediatoolnest.com where the content appears;
a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
your physical or electronic signature.

We will review every complete notice and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the content.

Please do not send false notices. In several countries, knowingly making a false claim of infringement can lead to legal liability.

If your content was removed

If content you provided was removed following a notice and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may contact us at the same address with an explanation. Where applicable law provides for a counter-notice procedure, we will follow it.

Repeated abuse

We may block access to the Service for anyone who repeatedly uses it to infringe the rights of others, as described in our Terms of Use.
