Up to 1 GB for most tools and 500 MB for Video Converter and Compress Video. Because processing happens on your device, the real limit also depends on its memory: phones handle smaller files than computers.

Re-encoding video is demanding, and it runs on your own device. Trimming the video first, or using a computer instead of a phone, makes it much faster.

Some videos, such as screen recordings, have no sound track. There is nothing to extract in that case.

Try a shorter or smaller file, close other tabs, or use a computer. Trimming a long video before converting it also helps.
