Tools are provided "as is"
MediaToolNest's tools are free and provided "as is", without any guarantee. We work to make them reliable, but we cannot guarantee that:
- every file will be processed successfully;
- the result will have a specific quality, file size, duration or compatibility;
- the result will play correctly on every device, application or platform;
- the tools will always be available or free of errors.
Media files vary enormously. Codecs, recording devices, editing software and damaged or unusual files can all affect results. Some operations reduce quality by nature: converting to a lossy format such as MP3, AAC or WebM, compressing video, or creating a GIF all discard information. That information cannot be restored by converting the file back.
Keep your original files
Our tools never modify your original file; they create a new one. However, we never receive your files, so we cannot recover an original file or a result. Always keep a copy of your original files, and check the result before deleting anything.
Browser-based processing
Our tools run inside your web browser and rely on your device's memory and processing power. Performance and maximum file size depend on your device, browser and available memory. Very large files may fail on some phones or older computers. This is a limitation of the device, not a fault in your file.
Educational content is not professional advice
Our guides explain media formats, quality settings and related topics for general informational purposes. They are written carefully and reviewed for accuracy, but technology changes. Information may become outdated, and a recommendation that works in most situations may not suit yours.
