Our purpose
We publish content to help people understand and solve everyday video and audio problems. Every guide must answer a real question that people ask, such as which format to choose, why a file won't play, or how to reduce its size. We do not publish pages simply to increase the number of pages on the website.
Who creates our content
Content is produced by the MediaToolNest Editorial Team, which is also responsible for our tools. Because the same team builds and tests the tools, our explanations reflect how media files actually behave when they are converted, compressed or trimmed.
How we research and write
- We rely on primary technical sources: the FFmpeg documentation, codec and format specifications, and the official help pages of the platforms we mention.
- We check practical claims with our own tools and common file types.
- We explain terms simply, give concrete examples and formulas the reader can apply, and state limitations openly.
- We do not invent statistics, testimonials, reviews or user numbers. When we give typical values, we present them as ranges or examples, not as guarantees.
Use of software tools
Like many publishers, we may use software tools, including AI-assisted writing tools, to help research, draft, translate or check content. Every guide is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a person before it is published, and the MediaToolNest Editorial Team takes full responsibility for everything that appears on the website.
Accuracy and updates
Video and audio technology changes: devices adopt new formats, and platforms change their limits. We review our guides regularly and whenever our tools change. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
If you believe something on MediaToolNest is inaccurate or out of date, please write to contact@mediatoolnest.com with the page address and the correction. We review every report. When we confirm an error, we correct the page promptly and update its date.
Independence
